The Easter Update introduced a highly competitive radar and raiding system that injected intense PvPvE mechanics into the core loop. Radio Tower intelligence is the most heavily contested data in any given server.
Locating a Radio Tower
Radio Tower islands spawn procedurally across the mid-ocean. Each tower has a single interactable central antenna.
The server-wide ping
Upon interacting with the antenna, a server-wide signal transmits coordinate pings directly into all 27 players' UI Compass. Every player on the server learns the Rival Rig coordinates the moment you trigger the tower.
Rival Rig tiers
Three unique Rival Rigs spawn per server — 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Each tier increases in architectural complexity, thermal hazards, and enemy DPS. Guarding each rig are hostile NPCs designated as Rival Survivors.
Clearing the rig
Engage in close-quarters ballistic and melee combat to clear the rig. Bring Heat Resistance Flasks for the higher tiers — thermal hazards stack.
The +1 Day Multiplier
At the apex of each cleared rig is a Special Chest. Looting this container yields the +1 Day Multiplier Buildable — the most valuable trade item in the meta. By constructing this item on your home raft, you artificially accelerate the server clock, halving the real-world time required to reach Day 100.
Strategic play
Triggering a Radio Tower is a public announcement. Coordinate with your crew first, or expect contested PvP at the rigs.
