What changed
Before this update, oceanic navigation was largely blind or based on visual horizon rendering — heavily penalising players with lower graphics draw distances. The Radio Tower is the developer's answer: a centralised infrastructure that broadcasts coordinate pings server-wide the moment a single player triggers the antenna.
The new raid tier
Three Rival Rigs spawn per server instance, with escalating thermal hazards and enemy DPS at each tier. The Special Chest at the apex of each cleared rig yields the +1 Day Multiplier Buildable — the apex trade item in the meta.
Why it matters
The +1 Day Multiplier halves the real-world time required to reach the Day 100 extraction event. At 10,000+ Pearls on the active player market, the new buildable dominates the trade economy by an order of magnitude.
The meta shift
Players who previously optimised for biological survival and metallurgy are now forced to engage with the intelligence layer — Radio Tower triggers, Rival Rig coordination, and competitive PvP contention at the chests.
