June 2026 Balance Pass - Cargo Ship Tuning and Biofuel Rebalance

The June 12 2026 balance pass tunes several of the late-game loops that have dominated the meta since the Volcano Update.

Cargo Ship tuning

Route frequency has been increased by 22%, putting more Cargo Ships in rotation per in-game day. This compensates for the post-Engine + Steering Wheel velocity-match dominance that had effectively eliminated Paddle-only chases from the meta.

Biofuel rebalance

The Biofuel Processor input cost (food + wood composite) has been reduced by roughly 15%. The intent is to make mid-game weather-event survival less Pearl-gated.

Lord of Lava Phase 4

The Phase 4 enrage threshold is now triggered at 25% HP (down from 30%). The Phase 4 rotation now hits slightly harder but lasts less long. Net effect: roughly equivalent total Phase 4 damage with a tighter burn-through window.

Kraken compensation

Hull-rake damage has been reduced by 8% to compensate for the dominance of Engine + Steering Wheel positioning during the encounter.
