The mid-to-late game skill-check boss. Categorized alongside the Kraken and Ghost Pirates as an esoteric encounter that the developers seeded into the progression loop to gate the final push toward Day 100. Defeating the Snorflord is widely treated as a prerequisite for ocean dominance.

Procedural encounter after passing mid-game progression thresholds. The Snorflord is a skill-check boss designed to gate the final push toward Day 100 extraction.

Combat phases

  1. Horned Charge - frontal charge attack with knockback
  2. Tidal Stomp - AoE shockwave around the boss
  3. Frost Howl - slows all player movement within the arena
  4. Rampage - at 30% HP the Snorflord enters a low-cooldown rotation

Combat tips

  • The Horned Charge has a fixed telegraph - sidestep left, do not back-pedal.
  • Frost Howl can be cleansed with Heat Resistance Flasks; budget two for the encounter.
  • At 30% HP the rotation shortens dramatically. Save Healing Potions for the Rampage burn-through.
  • Titanium Swords are the recommended weapon - the Snorflord has no elemental weakness, but Titanium scales cleanly.
  • The Snorflord Tusk is one of the most traded items in the meta. Sell it for Pearls if you're not crafting.
